Now continuing the pursuit of the Magnum Opus “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwini, has arrived in theaters and is an epic saga from Mahabharata. Thus, the film ends with an exciting eruption and a number of questions left unanswered. In this article, we explained the ending of “Kalki 2898 AD” and what we can expect in KALKI Part 2.
What Happened to Ashwatthama? Did He Save SUM-80
The character Ashwatthama wakes from a deep sleep in “Kalki 2898 AD” as he feels the presence of the Maa (GOD’s mother) who is pregnant with the reborn God. With the help of little girl Raaya, Ashwatthama goes to save the innocent girl, Sumati also called Sum-80. Commander Manas had declared her as an outlaw and had put a bounty on her head and hence on IDA’s instructions bounty hunters like Bhairava started hunting her down.
Ashwatthama takes Sumati to Shambala which marks the beginning of the prophecy and subsequent event. Sumati who is new to the outside world outside the Complex and the important position that she has been bestowed with is rather confused with the occurring events. Several Complex forces and bounty hunter Bhairava successfully invade Shambala, although Ashwatthama gives it his all and is unable to stop Bhairava from kidnapping Sumati.
Bhairava was a brave Kshatriya as a prince, and he harbored the burning desire to avenge his father’s death all along, not knowing that he was a royal prince. In the given parable Bhairava obtains all the desired gifts and is also ignorant of his true nature or role. In Mahabharat, when Arjun faces Ashwatthama in combat, he uses a weapon that is controlled by magic and is owned by Karna, a demigod and Ashwatthama’s mate. This act shows that Bhairava has taken rebirth as Karna, however Bhairava himself does not remember that.
Upon the occurrence of Part 2, Bhairava would presumably get exactly what he wants and seize his true identity and might. He may become greedy and turn against the cause, helping Sumati to bring out the prophecy and fight the Complex alongside Ashwatthama.
Will Supreme Yaskin murder Sumati in Part 2?
The main antagonist Supreme Yaskin employs women to get a regeneration fluid that makes him age slower. In the post-credit scene, he physically changes after he uses a drop of serum from Sumati, he is coming with increased power and determination to get her back and kill her.
Kalki Part 2 is expected to see a great battle between Yaskin, Bhairava, and Ashwatthama. It is also the contradiction between Yaskin who would do anything to stop the birth of the child that would replace him as the king to the conflict. The final result will depend on Bhairava regaining his consciousness about his actual nature and the actions of the defenders of Shambala United.
Conclusion
Thus ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ lays down the premise for a sequel in ‘Part 2’. This type of threat brings about the climax of the film but to some extent, it makes the audience have a feeling that there is another episode that will depict the fate of Ashwatthama, Bhairava, and Sumati. Will hey complete their goal to rescue humanity or Supreme Yaskin will defeat them?
